We started with one loose thread.
Threads by RZN is a small studio making clothes you can actually live in — heavyweight cotton, honest fits, and a red thread running through everything we touch.
The story
It began as a joke about a jumper.
A hem came loose. Someone pulled the thread instead of cutting it, and it kept going — across the table, out of the room, into a whole idea. That's the shortest honest version of how this started.
The longer version: we were tired of clothes that looked right in a photo and wrong on a body. Tees that shrank into crop tops. Hoodies with hoods that lay flat like a napkin. So we started making the versions we wanted, in runs small enough that we could check every one.
We still do. Every piece is cut in small batches, checked by a person, and folded by the same person whose name goes on the ticket inside.

Four things, and not much else.
Self-expression
Clothes are the first thing anyone learns about you. We'd rather they said something specific than something safe.
Comfort, first
If it isn't the thing you reach for on a bad morning, it doesn't matter how good it looks. Weight, drape and neckline get argued about for weeks.
Creativity
One deliberately loud collection a season, and the rest quiet. Anime Edit gets the speed lines; Essentials gets left alone.
Community
Half our best ideas came from a DM. The Yarn & Handmade line exists because someone asked whether we'd ever hand-finish a collar.
How it's made
Nine steps, none of them skipped.
From a spool on the shelf to a folded parcel with your name on it.
Sketch and argue
Somebody draws it. Everybody argues about the neckline. It gets redrawn.
Knit and wash
Combed cotton knitted to weight, then garment-washed so it arrives already broken in.
Cut in small runs
Patterns graded by hand across every size. Forty to two hundred pieces at a time.
Stitch and finish
Flatlock seams, twin-needle hems, collar taped shoulder to shoulder. Hand-finishing where the collection calls for it.
Meet RZN
This is Riz.
Riz is the studio, condensed into one small person with strong opinions about drop shoulders. He turned up in a sketchbook in the first week and never left.
He wears the varsity jacket because the first thing we ever made was a red-and-white one, and the R stuck. The cargos are the studio uniform. The yarn ball is the loose thread from the jumper, wound back up.
On the site, he's also genuinely useful — ask him for a fit, a size or a whole look and he'll answer like a friend who happens to know clothes.

Craftsmanship
From fibre to finish.
Four stages. No shortcuts between them.

Fabric
Combed cotton is knitted to 240 GSM, then garment-washed so it arrives already broken in.

Cut
Patterns are graded by hand across every size. Drop shoulders sit where they should — on the shoulder, not the bicep.

Stitch
Flatlock seams, twin-needle hems, ribbed collar taped shoulder-to-shoulder so it never loses shape.
04
Finish
Every piece is checked, pressed and folded by a person whose name is on the ticket inside.
